Sammie still has an oxygen cannula and the doctor is trying to ween her off the oxygen. If she gets to working too hard to breath they turn of O2 up a little. If she is breathing okay they turn the O2 down a little. If all goes well she may be able to come home in a couple of days. Here is hoping for a couple of days, for her sake and the sake of her parents.
We sent Emma out to see her parents this weekend. Joe took Emma as far as Park City where he met Carolyn with Mica. Then Carolyn took Emma the rest of the way into Salt Lake. Emma spent all day Saturday with her parents. Joe just left a little while ago to pick Emma up. Emma has been such a joy to have in our home. I am going to miss her when her parents come and take her home. Of course I would have never been able to keep Emma if it had not been for Julie taking care of Emma during the day. Thanks Julie! My family is so good to me.
