I have learned to play the song "In the Hollow of Thy Hand" on my guitar. I play it almost every day. I know was written as a missionary farewell song, but I almost feel as if I am sending a son on another mission. I felt that way when we sent Bryan on Iraq. Now I feel that way as we are preparing to watch him leave for Afghanistan. One line keeps going over and over in my head, "As he faces life's demands may he take a valiant stand, Give him shelter in the hollow of thy hand."
What more can I say than that. Please be valiant Bryan. Lord, please give him shelter in the hollow of thy hand.
